nubnotePrivacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
Nubnote is a notes app. Your notes belong to you. This page says what the app does with them.
What stays on your device
Your notes, tags, categories, topics, reminders, photos and settings are stored on your device. The smart features (titles, topics, filing, Fetch search and voice dictation) use Apple's on-device models and on-device speech recognition. Your notes are not sent to us or to any AI service.
iCloud sync
If you leave iCloud sync on, Nubnote stores your notes in your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. We cannot see them. You can turn sync off in Settings.
What we collect
Nothing. Nubnote has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not receive your notes, your location, your contacts or any usage data.
Permissions the app may ask for
- Face ID or passcode: to lock the app. iOS handles this and we never receive biometric data.
- Microphone and Speech Recognition: for voice notes, processed on your device.
- Location (while using the app): only if you add a place reminder. Places are checked on your device. No location history is kept or sent anywhere.
- Notifications: for reminders you set.
- Photos: only the images you choose to add to a note.
Links
When you add a web link, the app may fetch the page title for a preview. You can turn this off in Settings. Searching for a place sends that search to Apple Maps.
Children
Nubnote does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
